Vocabulary
In LinkNotions you should know the meaning of the following terms.
World:
A complex set of concepts (notions) and links. This is a field of knowledge with hundreds of notions and hundreds or thousands of links between these notions.
View-URL
In your LinkNotions account, behind each world title, is the “External Link” button. If you click it, a window opens. The URL above is the View-URL. If you send this URL to somebody (or if you publish the world with this URL on your site), the receiver can read (see and use) the world, but he can not change it.
Copy-Link
In your LinkNotions account, behind each world title, is the “External Link” button. If you click it, a window opens. The URL below is the Copy-URL. If you send this URL to somebody (or if you publish the world with this URL on your site), the receiver can read (see and use) the world, and he can also copy it in his account in order to change it.
Domain:
Rectangle in the workspace containing notions within one category.
Subject group:
Set of notions belonging to a subject in a world (e.g. unemployment or price formation in the world of economics). These concepts are in different domains and are therefore scattered throughout a world.
