Convention: In LinkNotions a link leaves by the lower part of a notion box and enters the top of another. Each link has thus a direction.

1. To deactivate all notions and links, click in an empty corridor. (1)

2. To see all outgoing links of a notion (C5), place the cursor on the lower part of a notion (2). You see the links in the tooltip (2a). In this case you can read the links:

  • The notion A (C5) increases the notion D (G7)
  • The notion A (C5) has an influence on the notion B (F6)
  • The notion A (C5) is bigger than the notion C (G6)

If you want to see influenced notions (D, B and C), click the lower part of the notion A. D, B and C will be highlighted in the color of their link type.

3. To see the incoming links of a notion (G7), put the cursor on top of the notion (3). You see the links in the tooltip (3a).

In this cas you can read the links:

  • The notion A (C5) increases the notion D (G7)
  • The notion 1 has an influence on the notion D (G7)

If you want to see the notions that influence (C5, E5) click the top of the notion G7.

4. To view the contents of a notion, click it. The Info window shows part of the notion’s content (4). To see all content, click the magnifying glass (4a) in the Info window.

5. To view the content of a link, double-click one of both notions of the link (5). A contact window is opened (5a). It includes all incoming and outgoing links of the notion clicked. If you place the cursor on a link (5b), the Info window (4) shows part of the link content. If you click on a link and if you click the magnifying glass in the Info window, you see all the content of the link. (You get the same result if you double-click a link).
